As our first full-fledged seasonal, we think Buffalo Sweat is perfect to enjoy this fall and winter. This great beer should be on a shelf or tap near you! We love this beer here at the brewery, and think you will have one of those “I’ve never-tasted-a-beer-like-that” kind of moments when you try it!
What we really like about this beer is the smoothness that brewing with cream sugar brings to the palate. This smoothness balances out the copious quantities of roasted barley used in the brewing process to create a rich, complex, and delicious beer. If you have not been a stout drinker in the past, give this beer a try. It might just change your mind about how dark beers should taste. It tastes so rich, but is surprisingly easy to drink!
I LOVE THIS BEER! My wife Tricia loves this beer. Everyone here at the brewery loves this beer (at least they tell me they do and I believe them). You will love this beer too! The single best thing about crafting a new beer is creating those “never-tasted-a-beer-like-that” kind of brews for our merry band of beer drinkers. When I tasted our test batch of Buffalo Sweat I thought, “I need to make a lot more of this, right now!”
The Great Taste of Sweat
On our stout box it says “uncommonly smooth”,
so it must be true, right? We brew it with cream sugar to give it a “certain something” that you may not be able to exactly explain. All in all, Buffalo Sweat is just a smooth, creamy and decidedly ‘Merican beer from here in the middle of Kansas. It is not even a distant cousin to those dry Irish stouts. This stout will hit the spot as the weather turns chilly and football hits its full stride.
Buffalo Sweat Evaporates Quickly
I have to say that brewing this beer is really hard work (not afraid of that) and takes it lots of time (short on that), especially here at our little brewery (no money to expand that), so we are only brewing a few batches. This beer has to get us all the way through bowl season and to the Super Bowl!
Hint:You might want to stock up early if you want to leave a bottle under the tree for Santa.
